Northern Tier Sports ReportIt was title clinching week for several area teams - both in districts and NTLs - as teams get into the final throes of fall sports.
On the boys’ side Wyalusing’s Jonathan Earle had a big night on homecoming as he helped the Rams to a 42-7 win over Canton. Earle ran for 174-yards on 20 carries, including a 58-yard touchdown run to kick things off, earning him the NTL Male Athlete of the Week.
For the girls Troy’s Giana Renzi had six goals over three games this week, including a hat trick over the league clinching win over Towanda, earning her the Female Athlete of the Week honors.
