WELLSBORO — NEB scored with 27 seconds left to play to edge Wellsboro, 2-1, during NTL boys’ soccer action Tuesday.
It was a scoreless first half with Wellsboro’s Mason Brill scoring off a David Seeling assist less than five minutes into the game to put the Hornets up 1-0.
Ben Ellis tied the game up at 1-1 with a goal at the 23:46 mark, then Kuhn brought home the win with a goal in the final 30 seconds of the match.
Wellsboro out shot NEB 15-6 with both teams getting five corner kicks apiece.
Gavin Puza made 14 saves in net for the Panthers.
