
TOWANDA — Towanda volleyball fell 3-1 to Montrose during non-league action Saturday.
They lost the first set 25-20, but then rebounded to take the second set 25-23.
The Meteors won a marathon third set, 28-26, then finished off the win with a 25-19 fourth set win.
Karis Flynn had 29 assists, 12 digs, nine points, two aces, and one kill, with Brooklyn Evans adding 15 kills, 14 digs, two points, and one block.
Lariah Long notched 20 digs, nine points, eight kills, and one assist, with Kylee Barnes getting eight kills, four blocks, and one assist.
Brynsen Vargason had 18 digs, 12 points, and an ace as Alayna Rankin notched six kills, and two digs.
Addy Barrett had four kills, three blocks, and three points, with Caedence Wells getting three points, one ace, and a dig. Kaya Johnson chipped in with a kill.
Towanda won the JV match 25-9 and 25-8.
Ali Hollett had eight points, four aces, one kill, and seven assists with Molly Roberts getting seven points, three aces, two kills, and a dig.
Barrett had four kills, four points, one ace, and one block, as Emma Space had 11 points, five aces, two kills, and a dig.
London Decker notched three points, an ace, and one dig, with Sadie Overpeck getting two digs, two assists, and a point.
Kendall Kellogg had three blocks, two points, one ace, and one block, with Lennon Rice getting a dig, a point, and an ace. Sam Hartigan chipped in with five digs.
