NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: 2025 HOF CLASS FEATURES FOUR INDIVIDUALS, TWO TEAMS (2025-10-15)

There are six nductees for the 2025 NTL Cross-country Hall of Fame with an eclectic mix schools represented.

Individually, Sayre’s Beth Walker, Wyalusing’s Larry Beebe, Troy’s Ron Bellinger, and Canton’s Emmett Watson all made it into the Hall, while the 2010 Sayre girls’ squad and the 2000 Troy boys’ team are being honored.

Walker was a 2009 graduate from Sayre who was the first girl in Redskin history to qualify for states. She was a 4-time state qualifier, and 4-time NTL and Regional All-star, while also being a 2-time Sayre Athlete of the Year.

She holds the freshman and junior records at her home course of Litchfield, and has run six of the fastest times overall.

Her senior year she was second at Bear Mountain, second at the Valley Meet, fourth at the NTL Invitational, 15th at the District IV Championships, and won six dual meets during the regular season.

Watson was a 2013 graduate of Canton, and was part of the 2011 NTL Championship team, along with being on the 2010 and 2011 PIAA qualifying squads.

He was a state medalist in 2012 (20th), and in 2012 he was sixth at the NEPA Invitational, and fifth at the District IV Championships. Watson also broke the 17-minute barrier all four years that he ran.

Beebe was a 1993 graduate of Wyalusing, earning Runner of the Year honors in 1991 and 1992. He was also a state place finisher in 1991 (23rd) and 1992 (20th).

Beebe won the NTL Coaches’ Invitational titles in both of those years, and continued his running career at Division-II Millersville.

Bellinger was a 1995 Troy graduate who ran on some strong Trojan teams of the early 90’s.

He was a 2-time state qualifier, earning a fifth place medal in 1994.

The 2010 Sayre girls’ squad were 11-0 in dual meets that year as they claimed the NTL title. They were also runners-up at the District IV championships, becoming the first Sayre team to qualify for states.

They claimed team titles at the Bear Mountain Invitational, the NTL Invitational, the Lasagna Invitational, and the Tom Koons Valley Championship.

They were fourth at the NEPA Invitational, 13th at the PIAA Foundation Meet, and 18th at the PIAA Championships.

The team consisted of Hannah Robinson, Alex Middlebrook, Rose Velazquez, Mollie Robinson, Katie Hurley, Molly O’Hara, and Kathryn Porter.

The 2000 Troy boys team were undefeated NTL Champions, along with claiming the District IV, Class AA title.

The Trojans were a top five team at the NEPA Invitational, and fifth eighth at the PIAA Championships.

The team featured two state medalists in Wally Kreykenbohm (13th) and Bryan Bellinger (25th), along with Scott Voorhees, Chris Manning, Dustin Voorhees, Mick Kalata, and Eric Matthews.

Also on the team were Jimmy Trujillo, Cole Morgan, Andrew Geer, John Cross, and Ross Hollister.
