Wyalusing (2-6) will be looking to bounce back as they travel to Hughesville (2-6) for a 7 p.m. kick-off on Friday.
“Hughesville has played a very tough schedule this year, and are much better than their 2-6 record would indicate,” said Wyalusing coach Rich Rogers.
The Spartans are coming in on a 3-game losing streak, while Wyalusing looks to bounce back fro their loss at Athens.
“Coach Rainey will have them well prepared this week, we will need our best effort for four quarters,” said Rogers.
KEYS TO THE GAME
Wyalusing - Limit the miscues. This has been a lingering problem for the Rams this season but they need to hold on to the football, when they do they can move the sticks.
Hughesville - Stay disciplined on defense. One thing Wyalusing has been able to do is run some misdirection for a big gain here or there in the pass game. The Spartans have to be ready for that.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Jacob Gromley, Wyalusing, LB - It could be a busy day for the Ram defense with the way Hughesville runs the ball. Gromley will be key to slowing down their run attack.
Connor Anstadt, Hughesville, WR - Anstadt has 248-yards receiving off 20 catches with one touchdown this season. He’s their best big play athlete on the edges.
