It’s postseason week for soccer, cross-country, and volleyball though volleyball has to wait until Saturday to start their tournament. And to top it off its rivalry week on the gridiron.

Thursday, October 23
District IV Championships at Bloomsburg University, 9:30 a.m.: The top teams in the district will convene on the Bloomsburg University course to declare a champion and punch their ticket to states. The Class A girls (9:30 a.m.), Class AA girls (10:15 a.m.), Class A boys (11 a.m.), and Class AA boys (11:45 a.m.).

Thursday, October 23
Troy (15-3) vs Midd-West/NP-Mansfield at Balls Mills, TBA: Troy nabbed the third seed and will have to wait to see who they play down at Balls Mills. Both Midd-West and NP-Mansfield are 9-8-1.
Saturday, October 25
Wyalusing (10-8) vs Line Mountain (14-4) at Balls Mills, TBA: There are no common opponents between the two as Millersburg forfeited to Wyalusing. Line Mountain has losses to Warrior Run (3-0), Juniata (2-1), and Susquenita (3-2, 3-1).
BOYS’ SOCCER
NEB (13-5) vs Southern Columbia (12-5-1) at Danville, TBA: Both teams earned wins over Towanda and Sullivan County. NEB has wins of 7-0 and 6-1 over Towanda while they beat Sullivan County 4-2. SCA beat Towanda 7-0, and Sullivan County 4-0.

Friday, October 24
Troy (8-1) at Canton (2-7), 7 p.m.: The Old Shoe will feature the red hot Trojans who come in on a 7-game win streak. Canton just ended their 7-game losing streak.
Towanda (2-7) at Wyalusing (2-7), 7 p.m.: The last hurrah for both teams this season as they play for the Bronze Helmet. Towanda is coming off a close loss to Tunkhannock while Wyalusing fell to Hughesville.
VOLLEYBALL
Monday, October 20
NEB (1-14) at Towanda (8-10), 7 p.m.: The Knights need to win out to earn a playoff spot as they sit in ninth. NEB is coming off losses to Athens and Williamson.
Tuesday, October 21
Towanda (8-10) at Wellsboro (15-3), 7 p.m.: The Knights played Wellsboro to a five game match in their first meeting, ultimately falling in the end. Wellsboro is coming off a five set loss to Troy.
Troy (15-2) at NEB (1-14), 7 p.m.: The Trojans will be looking to clinch their second straight league title with a win while NEB finishes the season at home.
Wyalusing (10-8) at Canton (8-9), 7 p.m.: Both teams are guaranteed a district spot, while the Rams, though, would probably like to get away from the seventh seed, and a first round date with Wellsboro. The Rams won the first match 3-1.
Thursday, October 23
CV (2-13) at Troy (15-2), 7 p.m.: The Trojans finish up the regular season as they take on the Indians in NTL cross-over action.
NP-Liberty (9-6) at Canton (8-9), 7 p.m.: The Warriors finish out the regular season at home as they look to finish the season above .500.
Sayre (9-7) at Wyalusing (10-8), 7 p.m.: The Rams look to avenge an earlier season loss to the Redskins. They’ll be looking to finish the season strong heading into the playoffs.
Saturday, October 25
District IV Playoffs: The Class AA quarterfinals will be on this date, and possibly the Class A and Class AAA semifinals.
