NTL GOLF: TOWANDA'S GOLFERS COMPETE AT PIAA CHAMPIONSHIPS (2025-10-20) Northern Tier Sports Report STATE COLLEGE — Towanda’s three golfers competed at the first day of the PIAA Championships on Monday.
In boys Class AA Graham Welles shot 82 in a tie for 48th place. He had three birdies on the day - the par-4 first hole, the four-5 third hole, and the par-4 15th hole - to go with seven pars.
Boom Thompson shot 85 finish tied for 58th. He had a birdie on the par-4 eighth hole to go with seven pars.
In Class AA girls Clara Glantz was 34th with a 105. She had four pars on the day.
The second round continues on Tuesday at the Penn State Blue & White Course.
