NTL BOYS' SOCCER: NEB'S KUHN IS NTL PLAYER OF THE YEAR (2025-11-11)
Northern Tier Sports ReportNEB’s Tyler Kuhn was named the NTL Boys’ Soccer Player of the Year by the coaches, with teammate Eli Stanton earning Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Kuhn was named to the first team at mid-field, while Stanton was named a first team defender.
NEB’s Dan Barrett was named a first team striker, while Anthony Pousen was named a first team mid-fielder.
For Towanda mason Harbst was named to the second team defense, and Brayden Spencer was named a second team mid-fielder.
Other major award winners are Williamson’s Liam Kiess as the Offensive Player of the Year, Athens’ Zach Fisher as the Goal Keeper of the Year, and first year Wildcat coach Travis Reynard as the Coach of the Year.
Athens had two first team defenders in Alex Thompson and Brycen Wood, along with Wellsboro’s Jude Cuneo, and Williamson’s Nate Gehman.
Other first team strikers include NPL’s Parker Jackson, Wellsboro’s Jonathan Carl, Williamson’s Ben Bower, and Galeton’s Max Schloegel.
Other first team midfielders include Athens’ Chase Gombocz, who is the Newcomer of the Year, and Williamson’s Hayden Plunkert.
Second team defenders include Galeton’s Corbin Basile, NPL’s Peter Bishop, and Wellsboro’s Cohen Tennis.
Second team strikers are NPL’s Brody Grinnell, Wellsboro’s Jacoby Strang, Williamson’s Brady Colwell, Athens’ Patrick Umber, and Galeton’s Trey Sykora.
Second team midfielders are Athens’ Eli Vogell, Wellsboro’s David Seeling, and Athens’ Kamdyn Wheeler.
NPL’s Deacon Valentine is the second team keeper.
