YOUTH: TOWANDA JH GIRLS GET SWEEPS OVER WYALUSING, NPM (November 21, 2025)
Northern Tier Sports ReportThe Towanda girls’ hoops A-team got wins over NPM (33-26) and Wyalusing (26-21) in junior high action recently.
In the win over Wyalusing Nina Gallagher had 13 points to lead Towanda while Mila Santiago netted seven.
Rhyann Kithcart and Bristol Edsell had two points apiece, as John Miller and Gemma Brown both scored one.
For Wyalusing Brae Cobb netted seven with Lacee Warner and Quinn Vanderpool both scoring six. Megan Romaink notched two.
In the win over NPM Santiago netted 17 with Gallagher scoring 11. Kitchart had three with Brown netting two.
Hallie Kipferl led NPM with nine as Lily McNamara notched six, Kylee Lightner finished with five, Janelle Slaymaker had four, and Kyla Vickery scored two.
Towanda won both B games, as well, with the Lady Knights beating NPM (21-18) and Wyalusing (19-17) in a pair of nail-biters.
Against Wyalusing Lily Bartholomew had five points to lead Towanda as Tallie Dzurinko and Elli Thompson both scored four. Katie Flynn added three, and Johna Miller had one.
Kynlee G led Wyalusing with seven points as Greta B scored six. Aubrey M and Temprist G both scored two.
Thompson went off for 17 points to lead Towanda in the win over NPM as Jewels Strickland scored four.
Amari Smith and Liuee Robinson both scoring six. Vickery had four, and Scarlett Kipfurl notched two.
