COLLEGE: WILLIAMSON'S SOTTOLANO GOES 4-2 AT KEYSTONE CLASSIC (November 23, 2025)
BY BRYAN SEYMOURNorthern Tier Sports ReportLock Haven University traveled to the University of Pennsylvania for the Keystone Classic Invitational. Traveling with the team was Williamson graduate Kade Sottolano, wrestling at 285.
In the round of 32, Sottolano squared off with Brody Kline of Franklin & Marshall, where he won by a 10-3 decision to move on to the round of 16. In the round of 16, Sottolano faced John Pardo of Penn, where he fell by an 8-2 decision to fall to the consolation rounds. In the consolation round of 16 #2, Sottolano faced off against Matthew Cruise of Penn, where he won by a 12-0 major decision to move to the consolation round of 8 #1.
Here, Sottolano won by a 3-1 decision to continue to move on. In the consolation round 8 #1, he squared off against Dominic Petracci of Drexel.
Here, Sottolano continued his winning ways with a 3-1 decision. In the consolation round of 8 #2, Sottolano faced John Vinciguerra of Penn. Again, Sottolano with the win, this time by a 7-0 decision, to move on to the consolation semi-finals. Here, Sottolano faced off against Central Michigan’s Bryan Caves where he fell by a score of 4-0 decision to end his tournament. For the day, Sottolano went 4-2. Lock Haven will be back in action when they host the Lock Haven Open 1 November 30.
