NTL GOLF: TOWANDA LEADS BRADFORD COUNTY ALL-STARS (November 25, 2025)

Towanda had a strong season on the links for both boys and girls, as the two teams claimed NTL and District IV titles, to go with state qualifiers.

On the boys’ side Towanda’s Boom Thompson and Graham Welles were side by side all throughout the season as their 1-2 golfers. Not only did they lead them to their team titles, they both also qualified for states, making them the Male Co-Golfers of the Year.

On the girls’ side senior Clara Glantz saved her best for last, helping the Knights secure a district title while qualifying for states as a team. She was also the lone NTL golfer to make states individually, earning her the Female Golfer of the Year.

Athens’ Jacob Saxon posted a strong 91.3 average this season, securing the Male Newcomer of the Year honors.

Towanda’s Olivia Heath led the Knights most of the regular season, finishing with a 102.3 average, earning her the Female Newcomer of the Year honors.

Towanda had about as good a season as it gets, with Paul Lantz and his staff earning the Coaching Staff of the Year award.

The first team consists of Thompson, Welles, Heath, and Glantz, along with fellow Knights Baylee Clark, and Owen Savercool. Athens’ Eli Hicks, Ty Owen, and Brooke Lyon also make the list.

On the second team are Saxon with fellow Wildcats Lucas Grenninger, and Peter Bertsch, along with Wyalusing’s Myles Kershner, Noah Kilmer, and Lucas Girven. Towanda’s trio of Rosie Glantz, Izzy Repsher, and Payton Perry are also on the list.
