SULLIVAN COUNTY PULLS AWAY FROM MILLVILLE (December 9, 2025)
Northern Tier Sports ReportMILLVILLE — Sullivan County pulled away from Millville, 63-42, in Mid-Penn boys’ basketball action Tuesday.
The Griffins out scored the Quakers in every quarter, taking leads of 16-9 after one, 28-18 at the half, and 43-28 going into the fourth before out pointing them 18-14 in the final frame.
Cayden Smithkors had a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds for Sullivan while Lucas King had 20 points and six rebounds.
Tucker Blasi chipped in with 15 points, as Ryan Murray had six points and seven boards. Colin King notched six points, Dom Marotti had three, Jaiden Moore netted two, and Carter Blasi rounded things out with one.
John Farrell led Millville with 15 points.
Tucker Blasi had nine in the first quarter to lead Sullivan, with Lucas King and Smithkors scoring four points each in the second.
Murray had six points to lead the Griffins in the third, while Luca King brought them in the fourth with nine points, including a 3-for-3 performance from the charity stripe.
Millville won the JV contest 47-44 as Carter Blasi had 14 for Sullivan.
The Griffins have a big one on Friday as they host Northwest.
