NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: TROY USES BIG HALF TO DOWN CV (December 10, 2025)

WESTFIELD — The long bus trip didn’t affect Troy any as they jumped out to a 51-10 halftime lead en route to a 60-23 win over CV during NTL girls’ hoops action Wednesday.

Giana Renzi had 16 points, eight assists, and four steals for the Trojans with Raelyn Woodward adding 15 points, three boards, and two blocks.

Kyah Renzo had eight points and three boards, with Emma Mickley, and Haidyn Watson both scoring six points apiece.

Izzy Renzi finished with five points and five steals, as Jazmyn Frisbie and Kyli Oldroyd finished with two points each.

Starr Ordway led CV with 12 points.

The Trojans hit eight 3-balls on the night, three of them in their 26-point first quarter. Woodward led the way with 10 points while Giana netted eight.

They added 25 more points in the second as six different players scored, with four of them hitting from deep. Giana had six with Woodward, and Watson tallying five each.

Troy (1-1) will host Canton (2-0) on Friday.
