NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: TERIBURY'S HOT HAND LEADS TROY PAST CV (December 10, 2025)

Northern Tier Sports Report
TROY — Trey Teribury went off for 28 points as Troy rolled past CV, 67-34, during NTL boys’ basketball action Wednesday.

“It feels good to bounce back,” said Troy coach Craig Sheeley. “We worked hard in practice the last few days, and definitely learned a lot of things from the Sullivan County game, so it was exciting to see some improvement on a lot of the concepts.”

The Trojans led 18-9 after one, despite not scoring until over halfway through the opening quarter.

“The first home game, and we’re a pretty young team, so there’s a lot of new things in every game,” Sheeley said. “It’s a good experience, the first home game, so working through those jitters we’ll be alright.”

Then they pushed their advantage to 37-20 at the half. A 22-point third quarter by Troy sealed it for them.

Teribury also had three steals, with Evan Allen and Cameron Morey getting six points and two steals.

Pryor Teribury scored five, as Josiah Pesesky, Spencer Martin, James Roy, Aiden Lawrence, and Landon Cole all had four points

Martin added five boards, and five steals, with Pesesky nabbing nine boards. Cole chipped in with four rebounds.

Austyn Burdick led CV with 13 points.

Trey was hot early, scoring 11 of Troy’s 18 first quarter points, then hit three 3-balls in the second frame en route to 13 points in the quarter.

“He had the hot hand, and was working really hard,” remarked Sheeley. “The team was finding him so it was exciting.”

In their game high 22 point third frame seven different Trojans scored, led by five from Pesesky.

Troy (2-1) is off until next Tuesday when they travel to Canton.
