NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: TOWANDA PRESSES THEIR WAY PAST WILLIAMSON (December 12, 2025)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTOWANDA — Towanda rolled to their second straight rout, beating Williamson 86-18 during NTL girls’ basketball action Friday.
The Knights jumped out to a 22-4 first quarter lead, then out scored the Warriors 32-0 in the second quarter for a 54-4 halftime advantage.
All in all Towanda had 32 steals on the night.
Brynn Woodruff had 20 points, five boards, and three steals to lead Towanda as Mya Maynard and Taylor Aquilio had 12 points each.
Maynard grabbed nine boards with five assists, while Aquilio had three steals.
Payton Perry had 11 points, and five steals, with Maris Cobb adding 10 points, four boards, and two steals.
Mary-Kate Eberlin notched nine points, four boards, four assists, and four steals, with Kennedy Heyer adding six points, and four steals.
Reese Sullivan, Karis Flynn, and Maci Alexander all scored two points, as Sullivan and Flynn each had four steals, while Alexander nabbed two. Ali Hollett chipped in with four boards.
Aubrey Wells led Williamson with five points.
Towanda had 11 field goals as they jumped out to the 18-lead in the first quarter with Maynard’s eight points leading the way.
They had 14 field goals in their 32-point second quarter effort as seven players scored. Perry netted 11 points in that frame, while Woodruff notched eight.
In the third they out scored Williamson 19-11 behind six points from Woodruff.
Towanda won the JV game 55-15 with Hollett scoring 17, and Aquilio netting 12.
Towanda (2-1) is at NP-Liberty on Wednesday.
