LAPORTE — Sullivan County rolled past Northwest, 89-17, during Mid-Penn boys’ basketball action Friday.

The Griffins jumped out to a 36-0 first quarter lead on the defending district champions, and never looked back.

Colin King went 7-for-7 to score 16 points, then added 10 steals for the double-double. He also had four assists.

Tucker Blasi finished with 16 points, as Lucas King had 11 points, and five assists.

Dom Marotti and Liam Busch both netted eight, as Ryan Murray, and Jaiden Moore each scored six. Carter Blasi finished with five while Cayden Smithkors had four points and nine boards.

Calen Sweigart and Aiden Sperry each notched two, and Ryder Lambert chipped in with one.

Sullivan won the JV game 57-21 with Hunter Miller scoring 15 points.

Sullivan County (4-0) will host Northumberland next Friday.
