RED, WHITE TIE IN INAUGURAL TROY CHRISTINE WOODWARD MEMORIAL ALUMNI CONTEST (December 13, 2025)

TROY — The Inaugural Christine Woodward Memorial Alumni Basketball game ended in an 86-86 tie Saturday between the White and Red teams.

Featuring graduates from 1990 to 2025 the game that raised money for one Troy boy and girl player.

For the Red team Lincoln Chimics and Ty Barrett both netted 24 points with Joseph Frye scoring nine. Justice Chimics notched six, Stefani Holmes and Eric Reeves both had five, Rachel Kingsley and Darrin Lindsay scored four points each, Jed Wright added three, Ashley Dean had two, and Tony Sterling netted one.

Jack Burbage led the White team with 21 points followed by Evan Woodward with 14, and Zeb Oldroyd’s 12.

Syd Taylor added eight, Kailyn Sterling scored seven, Trev Teribury notched six, as Anthony Deitrick added four.

Amberleigh Packard, Pam Ayer, Cody Martin, and Ella Van Noy all had three points, with Roxanne Kingsley scoring two. 

The refs also gave the White team three points for a Red violation.

After the game Woodward edged out Lincoln Chimics to win the dunk contest.
