NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: CAPLAN'S 22 LEADS WYALUSING IN WIN OVER BENTON (December 13, 2025)

WYALUSING — Wyalusing racked up 49 first half points as they rolled past Benton, 81-40, during non-league boys’ basketball action Saturday.

Tyler Caplan led three Rams in double figures with 22 points, as Parker Cunningham netted 16, and Myles Kershner scored 13.

Bradyn Johnson had eight, Aidan Neiley finished with seven, Jared VandeMark netted six, Noah Kilmer scored four, Mason Culver had three, as Shay Gartland chipped in with two.

Dalon Koch had 19 to lead Benton.

It was 20-10 after the first quarter with Caplan leading the way behind eight points. Wyalusing went on a 29-point tear in the second quarter behind seven from Kershner, with Caplan and Johnson both netting six to take a 49-19 lead into the locker rooms.

Caplan led Wyalusing’s 18 point third quarter effort with eight points, while in the final frame Cunningham scored nine.

Wyalusing (2-0) travels to NEB on Tuesday.
