NTL WRESTLING: NEB GOES 6-0 AT SPARTAN DUALS TO TAKE TOURNAMENT TITLE (December 14, 2025)

HUGHESVILLE — The Northeast Bradford wrestling team went 6-0 to take the Spartan Duals title on Saturday, which included a 26-24 win over last year’s District IV Duals runners-up, Hughesville.

The Panthers also beat Wellsboro (56-6), Lackawanna Trail (48-12), Sullivan County (47-21), Mid-Valley (42-21), and Wyoming Valley West (51-16).

Mason Alexander went 6-0 for NEB while Keagan Slater went 5-0. 

Hunter Comstock, Maddex Rooker, Kale Howland, and Asher Kolesar all went 5-1, as Russell Martin went 2-1.

Alex Gomez, Connor Eastabrook, and Ben Ellis all finished 4-2, with Kelton Raymond going 2-4.

In the win over the Hornets Comstock (127), Rooker (133), Raymond (145), Eastabrook (160), Howland (172), and Kolesar (189) all had falls, with Alexander (114) scoring a tech.

Ellis (215) earned a 6-4 win over Hayden Stevens, as Slater (121) and Gomez (152) each had forfeits.

Against Lackawanna Trail Alexander (121), Rooker (139), Gomez (152), and Howland (160) each had falls as Slater (127), Eastabrook (172), Kolesar (189), and Ellis (215) scored forfeits. 

In the win over Hughesville Comstock (127), Martin (189), and Kolesar (215) each got falls as Alexander (121) finished off the match with a tech fall.

Gomez (145) picked up a crucial 10-8 win over Wesley Harvey.

In the victory over Sullivan County Howland (172), Kolesar (215), and Alexander (114) all had falls with Rooker (133), Slater (121), and Comstock (127) each getting forfeits.

Martin (189) had a technical fall while Eastabrook earned a medical forfeit

In the win over Mid-Valley Howland (160), Alexander (114), Slater (121), and Comstock (127) each scored falls as Kolesar (189), Ellis (215), and Rooker (133) had forfeits. 

In the victory over Wyoming Valley West Gomez (145), Raymond (152), Eastabrook (160), Howland (172), Ellis (285), and Alexander (114) all scored falls, as Slater (121), and Comstock (127) each had a forfeit.

Rooker (139) added an 8-4 win over Eli Blockus.

NEB (8-0) has a big week as they travel to Wyalusing on Tuesday, then host Athens on Thursday.
