NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: GARNER, MAYE LEAD TOWANDA PAST WILLIAMSON (December 16, 2025)

TIOGA JUNCTION — Towanda stayed undefeated on the season with a 77-26 win over Williamson during NTL boys’ basketball action Tuesday.

It was 27-0 Knights after one as they never looked back in the win.

Markell Garner netted 20 points to lead Towanda in scoring while Josh Maye scored a career high 17. 

Darrius Farrell notched 10, Keegan Stroud scored nine, and Landon Clark added eight. Graham Welles chipped in with five, as Boom Thompson, Lucas Vincent, Hudson Stevens, and John Hemphill had two points apiece.

Towanda had 12 made baskets in the first quarter led by Garner’s eight as Maye netted five.

Maye scored five more in the second as the Knights built a 48-9 lead at the half.

Towanda had 29 second half points, with Garner leading the way behind an eight point effort as Maye scored seven.

Towanda (5-0) will host NP-Liberty on Thursday.
