NTL WRESTLING: WYALUSING HAS FOUR INTO JIM THORPE SEMIFINALS (December 29, 2025)
Northern Tier Sports ReportJIM THORPE — Wyalusing has four wrestlers into the semifinals, with a total of 10 still alive at the Jim Thorpe Christmas Tournament Monday.
Isaiah Harvey (121), Jonathan Earle (152), Logan Wood (107), and Cole Patrick (133) all made the final four.
Patrick went 3-0 with three first period falls as he gets Wallenpaupack’s Giovanni Lomonaco in the semifinals.
Harvey had two tech falls, and a pin to reach the final four where he gets LaSalle’s Cooper Helm.
Jonathan Earle had a pin with two tech falls and faces Valley View’s Tywone Giles in the final four.
Wood used three falls to get to the semifinals, where he faces North Schuylkill’s Gaige Mentusky in the semifinals.
Bostyn McMicken (127), Brenden Wells (285), Conner Earle (172), Ethan Vanderpool (189), Griffin Sheldon (139), and Reuben Kinney (145) are all still alive in the consolations.
Kinney went 2-1 and faces LaSalle’s Jeff Fecher in the consolations. He had a pin, and a tech fall on the day.
Sheldon went 2-1 and gets Oley Valley’s Vincenzo Fick, while Vanderpool also went 2-1 and gets Valley View’s Mason Mitchell. Sheldon had two falls, while Vanderpool opened with a loss but came back with a pin, and a tech fall.
Conner Earle went 2-1 with a fall, and 11-1 major decision, and gets Hughesville’s Colton Gavitt in the wrestle backs.
Wells went 2-1 with two falls, and faces LaSalle’s Kaleb Davidson in the consolations, while McMicken went 2-1 with a 14-3 major decision, followed by a medical forfeit.
The Rams currently sit in fourth with 124 points.
Holden Patrick (2-2) just came up short of moving on, while Marshall Huston (160), Dominick Hadlock (172), Daniel Fox (215), and Austin Jones (114) all went 1-2.
