NTL GIRLS' WRESTLING: TOWANDA HAS SEVERAL MEDALISTS AT MATNESS AT THE MAAC TOURNAMENT (January 4, 2026)

MONTGOMERY — The Towanda girls’ wrestling team competed at the Matness at the MAAC Tournament on Saturday.

Kaylen Sluyter (116) went 4-1 to take third in the gold bracket for her weight, while while Hailey Harbst (106) went 4-2 to take third in her gold bracket.

Adelee Wecker (170) went 3-2 to take fourth in the gold bracket, while Kendal Cook (148) went 3-1 to take first in the silver bracket.

Elizabeth Naughton (155) went 3-2 to take third in the silver bracket, as Ily Benjamin (142) went 4-2 to take first in the bronze bracket.

Kenzie Brown (130) went 2-3 to take fourth in the silver bracket, as Kaylee Johnson (100) went 1-4 to take third in the silver bracket.

Lia Fischer (136) went 1-3 to take third in the bronze bracket.

Also for the Knights Natalyn Morris (106) went 3-1, Sierra Gromley (155) went 1-0, Kaylee Johnson (130) went 1-2, and Sophia Smallwood (235) went 0-1.
