NTL WRESTLING: NEB CROWNS AT SOUTH TOURNAMENT, TAKES 2ND AS A TEAM (January 4, 2026)

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — The NEB boys wrestling squad took second at the South Williamsport Mountaineer Invitational on Saturday.

The Panthers crowned three champions - Asher Kolesar (189), Kale Howland (160), and Mason Alexander (114) - as they amassed 180 points. South Williamsport won with 220.5.

Kolesar went 3-0 for his gold, while Howland finished the day 4-0, as Alexander went 2-0.

Ben Ellis (215), and Hunter Comstock (127) both went 2-1 to take second, with Alex Gomez (145), Conner Eastabrook (152), and Russell Martin (160) all taking third. Martin and Eastabrook went 4-1 with Gomez finishing 3-1.

Kelton Raymond (145) finished eighth at 1-3, as Keagan Slater (121), Maddex Rooker (133), and William Chappell (139) all went 0-2.
