NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: CANTON FALLS AT MILLVILLE (January 5, 2026)

MILLVILLE — Canton fell to Millville, 67-27, during non-league boys’ basketball action Monday.

The Warriors were down just 16-7 after the first quarter, but a 28 points second out of the Quakers helped them pull away.

Teyton Thompson had eight points to lead Canton, with Ryder Route netting seven. 

Monte Whitehead scored six, with Drew Holton, Cooper Jennings, and Kix Carr all netting two.

Three different Canton players scored in the first quarter with Route hitting a 3-ball. In the second they netted six more points behind four from Whitehead for a 44-13 game at the half.

After another slow third quarter Canton had their best yet with eight in the fourth, led by Thompson’s six.

Canton (0-7) travels to NEB on Tuesday.
