A big day of girls’ hoops as divisional contenders face-off, while Canton and Troy return to the mats.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Troy (7-3) at Towanda (8-1), 7:30 p.m.: The two league leaders coming into 2026, the Knights are riding an 8-game win streak while the Trojans are coming off a big road win over Waverly.

NEB (4-2) at Canton (7-2), 7:30 p.m.: A key divisional contest between the two top teams in the Small School. The two split last season, with NEB coming off a win over Wellsboro while Canton fell to Wyalusing.

Wellsboro (4-4) at Wyalusing (4-5), 7:30 p.m.:
The Rams return home for their first game on their home court since December 15. Wyalusing is coming off a win over Canton.

WRESTLING

Athens (2-2) at Troy (1-4), 7 p.m.: The Trojans return home. Neither team competed over Christmas break, though Troy is making up for it this week with two matches and a duals tournament on Saturday.

Canton (4-5) at Wellsboro (0-10), 7 p.m.: The Warriors hit the road for their second match in a row as they take on the winless Hornets.
