NTL WRESTLING: NEB'S MIDDLE WEIGHTS LEAD THEM PAST CENTRAL COLUMBIA (January 13, 2026)

BLOOMSBURG — NEB won seven weights as they topped Central Columbia, 40-27, during non-league wrestling action Tuesday.

The Panthers got falls from Mason Alexander (114), Maddex Rooker (127), Alex Gomez (145), Connor Eastabrook (152), Kale Howland (5:38), and Asher Kolesar (189) as Hunter Comstock (133) got the 9-1 major decision.

Kyle Curland (107), Joseph Bankes (121), and Clayton Whitenight (285) all had forfeits for the Blue Jays, with Garrett Panco (139) getting a fall.

Logan Miller (172) earned a 10-5 decision over Russell Martin.

Curland opened things with a forfeit, but NEB tied it up with Alexander’s fall over Colt Carmean in 57 seconds.

Bankes’ forfeit made it 12-6, but Rooker’s fall over Ryder Bates in 4:48 knotted things up again.

Comstock’s 9-1 win over Cole Horrax gave NEB the 16-12 lead, but Panco’s 3:00 fall over Chappell put CC back on top 18-16.

It was their last lead as Falls from Gomez, Eastabrook, and Howland pushed NEB past them 34-18.

Miller’s win ended that run, but Kolesar’s pin over Ari Rupert in 1:27 secured the win for the Panthers.

There was a double forfeit at 215.

NEB (10-3) will host Athens Wednesday.
