NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: NEB HITS THE CENTURY MARK IN WIN OVER WILLIAMSON (January 17, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — After flirting with the century mark in their game on Thursday with Williamson, NEB surpassed it Saturday, beating the warriors 106-43.
Six different Panthers hit double figures, led by Mac Burgert’s 26 as he went 8-for-10 from deep, to go with eight assists.
Cooper Brown went 8-for-12 for 23 points, then made it a double-double with 11 rebounds, to go with four steals.
Daniel Barrett had a double-double of 15 points, on 7-for-7 shooting, plus 13 assists, and four steals, while Clay Wilks had 12 points on 5-for-5 shooting plus eight rebounds.
Eli Stanton finished with 12 points, to go with four assists, and four steals, with Nate Gross adding 11 points.
Dayton Russell had four points, four boards, and four steals, as Landon Knolles notched three points.
NEB led 38-15 after one quarter as Burgert hit four 3-balls for 12 points to lead the way.
The Panthers poured in 41 points in the second to take a 79-27 lead at the half.
Burgert added 11 more points with Brown scoring 10.
Things cooled off in the third as NEB out scored Williamson 18-8 behind nine from Barrett.
The Panthers out scored Williamson 9-8 in the fourth.
NEB won the JV game 54-23 as Gross had 21, Anthony Johnson scored 17, and Landon Chapman added 10.
NEB (12-2) will host NP-Mansfield on Wednesday.
