SULLIVAN COUNTY ROLLS PAST MONTGOMERY (January 21, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportLAPORTE — Sullivan County rolled past Montgomery, 68-39, during Mid-Penn boys’ hoops action on Tuesday.
The Griffins led 27-11 after one, and never looked back.
Lucas King had 18 points, and four steals, as Tucker Blasi added 16 points, five boards, and five steals.
Cayden Smithkors added 11 points, while Colin King had nine points, 10 boards, and four assists.
Calen Sweigart, and Dom Marotti had three points each, as Madden Fries, Jaiden Moore, Carter Blasi, and Aiden Sperry each scored two.
Moore also grabbed five boards.
Tucker Blasi, and Lucas King each had nine points in the first quarter to lead the Griffins, while Colin King took oversee netting al nine of his points in the second as Sullivan built a 48-25 lead at the break.
The Griffins added 23 more points in the second half, led by seven from Lucas King.
Sullivan won the JV game, 54-42, as Landon Bahr had 10 points.
The Griffins host Millville on Friday.
