NTL WRESTLING: WYALUSING FALLS IN NTL FINALE TO WILLIAMSON (January 22, 2026)

WYALUSING — A fully healthy Williamson squad eked out a win over Wyalusing, 35-29, during NTL wrestling action Thursday.

The Warriors won the battle of the bouts, 7-6, including more falls with four to Wyalusing’s two.

Cole Patrick (133), and Jonathan Earle (152) both had falls, with Isaiah Harvey (121), and Reuben Kinney (145) both scoring tech falls.

Daniel Fox (215) had a major decision, as Griffin Sheldon (139) notched a decision.

Walker Hyde (107), Anthony Baker (160), Riley Rall (189), and Luke Sottolano (285) all had falls for the Warriors, with Zander Wilson (114) scoring a tech fall.

Hunter Simonds (127) had a major decision, as Steven Olson (172) scored a decision.

The Warriors opened up with an 11-0 lead as Hyde pinned Logan Wood in 5:44, while Wilson scored a 17-2 tech fall over Austin Jones in 4:03.

Harvey would get the Rams on the scoreboard with his 17-0 tech fall over Xander Stafford in 2:58.

Simonds made it 15-5 with his 9-0 win over Bostyn McMicken.

Then came the Rams’ rally, beginning with Patrick’s 46 second fall over Kolton Putt.

Sheldon then scored a 14-9 decision over Kohen Vandelinder to make it 15-14.

Kinney’s 18-0 tech fall over Ryder Dacheux in 3:35 put the Rams up 19-15, while Earle’s pin of Memphis Brockway in 44 seconds gave Wyalusing a 25-15 advantage.

That’s when the Warriors struck back, beginning with Baker’s pin of Holden Patrick in 5:31 to make it 25-21.

Olson then scored a 13-8 win over Conner Earle, followed by Rall’s pin of Ethan VanderPool in 43 seconds for a 29-25 Williamson lead.

The Warriors were docked an unsportsmanlike point at 172.

Fox would get a 15-7 major over Harlow Little to tie it up at 29-all.

In the finale Sottolano pinned Brenden Wells in 3:32 to get the win.

Wyalusing will travel to Ultimate Warrior this weekend.
