Towanda’s Gage Evans, and Hagen Jones were still alive at the Ultimate Warrior Tournament on Friday.

Evans (145) and Jones (145) were both in the consolations.

Evans went 3-1, opening with a 10-0 win, then lost by a 17-2 tech fall.

He bounced back with another 10-0 major decision, followed by a fall in 1:54 to stay alive.

Jones opened with a fall in 4:25 before falling 4-1 in the next round.

He pulled out a 1-0 win to stay alive, then picked up an 8-4 victory.

Reese Sluyter (160), Mason Harbst (107), Jayden Stranger (127), and Kolton McPeak (172) all went 1-2, with Sluyter medically forfeiting out of the tournament.

Bryghton Yale (133) went 0-2.

Wrestling will conclude on Saturday.
