NTL GIRLS WRESTLING: TOWANDA'S SLUYTER TAKES SILVER AT BALD EAGLE (January 25, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportBELLEFONTE — Kaylen Sluyter led the Towanda girls at the Bald Eagle Tournament on Saturday as she took home a silver medal.
Elizabeth Naughton. (155), and Kendal Cook (148) both finished fifth in the tournament.
Sluyter (118) went 3-1 on the day getting two pins, and a 16-0 tech fall to reach the final. In the title bout she lost 6-0.
Naughton went 4-1, opening with a 22-8 major decision win. After getting pinned she recorded three straight falls to take fifth.
Cook also went 4-1, opening with a fall before losing 12-0. She recorded three straight pins after that to take fifth.
Also for the Knights, Lia Fischer (136) went 3-2, as Hailey Harbst (100), Ily Benjamin (142), and Kenzie Brown (130) all went 2-2.
Adalee Wecker (170), and Natalyn Morris (106) both went 1-2, as Kaylee Johnson (100) went 0-2.
Towanda took eighth as a team with 98.5 points.
