NTL SWIMMING & DIVING: TOWANDA TAKES LOSSES TO BLOOMSBURG (February 3, 2026)

TOWANDA — The Towanda swim teams came up short in tri-meet action on Tuesday. The boys lost to Bloomsburg (87-78), while the girls fell (117-5).

For the boys Brennick Lain (165.30) won the diving, while taking third in the 100 fly in 1:07.23.

Lake Strickland (2:22.09) was third in the 200 free followed by teammate Andrew Manley (2:29.78) in fourth, while Xander Pratt (2:38.39) was sixth.

Strickland (27.86) was fourth in the 50 free followed by teammates Curtis Carter (28.33) in fifth, and Braydin Mattison (34.95) in seventh.

Shane Maghamez (57.83) was fourth in the 100 free as Nathan Little (1:19.83) took seventh, and Mattison (1:20.72) came in eighth.

Travyn Lewis (7:25.55) took third in the 500 free, while Pratt (7:33.19) was fourth.

The Black Knight 200 free relay of Maghamez, Lain, Strickland, and Manley was third in 1:47.32, while the second team of Carter, Cooper Chamberlain, Lewis, and Little took fifth in 2:15.21.

Maghamez (1:07.92) was second in the 100 backstroke, while Carter (1:23.14) came in fourth. Manley (1:22.51), and Matthew Weinman (1:27.62) were fourth and fifth in the 100 breaststroke.

Towanda’s foursome of Maghamez, Lewis, Little, and Strickland took fourth in the 400 free relay in 4:50.07, with their other team of Mattison, Chamberlain, Pratt, and Weinman was fifth in 5:00.12.

On the girls’ side Towanda’s Reagan Deacon was eighth in the 50 free (34.94), and fifth in the 100 breaststroke (1:37.17).

NEB’s Eliana Mihalek swam as an exhibition in the 100 breaststroke (1:40.61) and the 50 free (34.21).
