NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: TROY JUMPS OUT EARLY IN WIN OVER WELLSBORO (February 10, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTROY — Troy finished off their regular season with a 46-17 win over Wellsboro during NTL girls hoops action Monday.
The Trojans led 19-3 after one, though the Hornets out scored them 9-8 in the second for a 27-12 Troy lead at the half.
A 15-0 third quarter in favor of the Trojans secured the win.
Kyah Renzo shot 6-for-9 for 17 points to lead Troy while adding seven boards, as Giana Renzi had 11 points, seven rebounds, five steals, and four assists.
Raelyn Woodward notched eight points to go with four boards, two blocks, and two steals, while Emma Mickley shot 3-for-5 for eight points to go with four boards.
Izzy Renzi had two points, and four assists, with Haidyn Watson grabbing five rebounds.
Giana and Renzo combined for 17 of Troy’s 19 first quarter points, while Renzo added five more in the second.
Woodward took over in the third with eight points as the Trojans pulled away.
The Troy JV team won 39-18.
Troy will host Canton on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the NTL Showcase.
