NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: SULLIVAN COUNTY RALLIES PAST WYALUSING (February 10, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportLAPORTE β Sullivan County rallied for a senior night victory over Wyalusing, 51-46, during non-league boys hoops action Tuesday.
The Rams led 37-29 at one point in the third quarter, but the Griffins out scored them 22-9 from that point on to get the win.
Cayden Smithkors and Lucas King had 11 points each to lead Sullivan, with Smithkors adding six boards.
Dom Marotti netted 10 points, while Ryan Murray, and Calen Sweigart had four points each.
Tucker Blasi added six points, six steals, and five boards, with Colin King netting three to go with nine boards, and four steals. Jaiden Moore chipped in with two points.
Myles Kershner and Shay Gartland had 12 points each to lead Wyalusing, with Jared VanDeMark scoring eight.
Noah Kilmer and Cam Cole had five points each, as Tyler Caplan netted four.
Wyalusing led 15-13 after one behind a combined 14 points from Gartland and Kershner. Smithkors had four to lead Sullivan.
The teams were even in the second, netting 12 points apiece, as Sweigart, and Smithkors had four points each to lead the Griffins, while Kilmer netted five for Wyalusing.
Wyalusing would end the third quarter with a 42-38 lead as VanDeMark had five points in the frame, while Caplan scored his four.
Marotti netted two 3-balls to lead Sullivan.
In the fourth Lucas King had seven points, with Blasi netting four to lead the Sullivan comeback, while they held Wyalusing to just four points.
Wyalusing won the JV game 34-29 as Carter Blasi had eight to lead Sullivan.
Wyalusing will end their season on Thursday with a trip to CMVT, while Sullivan County takes on South Williamsport on Saturday, at St. John Neumann, for the Mid-Penn title. Itβs a 6 p.m. tip-off.
