NTL SWIMMING & DIVING: TOWANDA BOYS DOWN WELLSBORO ON SENIOR NIGHT (February 11, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTOWANDA — On senior night the Towanda boys swim team took home a 98-34 win over Wellsboro during dual meet action Wednesday.
The Knights went 1-2 in the medley relay as the team of Nolan Deacon, Andrew Manley, Brennick Lain, and Kenneth Carle won in 2:03.57. The second twosome of Curtis Carter, Matthew Weinman, Kellen Colton, and Travyn Lewis swam 2:19.09.
The Knights swept the 200 free, led by Lake Strickland (2:14.72) in first. Carle (2:25.99) was second, as Curtis (2:38.27) came in third.
Colton (26.95) was second in the 50 free with Carle (27.91) fourth, and Manley (27.91) in fifth.
Brennick won the diving with a score of 225.30, then took second in the 100 fly in 1:08.49. Colton (1:12.03) came in third.
Deacon (57.92) led a Towanda sweep in the 100 free, followed by Shane Maghamez (58.63), and Strickland (1:00.28).
Xander Pratt (7:07.96) won the 500 free, followed by Lewis (7:08.17), and Cooper Chamberlain (7:29.64).
Maghamez (1:07.79) was second in the 100 backstroke, followed by Deacon (1:11.75) in third, and Carter (1:18.38) in fifth.
Manley (1:21.67) was second in the 100 breaststroke, while Weinman (1:31.59) came in third.
The team of Maghamez, Braydin Mattison, Strickland, and Weinman won the 400 free relay in 4:42.89, while the foursome of Carter, Chamberlain, Lewis, and Little took second in 5:04.11.
The Wellsboro girls won 47-8.
For the Knights Reagan Deacon (1:18.48) won the breaststroke while taking fourth in the 50 free (33.97).
