AOW: GOOD POSTSEASON PERFORMANCES FROM WYALUSING'S FOX, CANTON'S ROCKWELL (February 22, 2026)

It was an exciting week of postseason hoops and wrestling for area athletes with some strong performances throughout the week.

On the boys’ side Wyalusing’s Daniel Fox made it all the way to the district title match, the only wrestler from the area to make a final. Fox’s silver medal at the District IV Championships earns him the Male Athlete of the Week Award.

For the girls Canton’s Stella Rockwell blanketed SCA’s Kailee Helwig, holding one of the top scorers in District IV to two points as the Warriors nearly got the upset win, earning her the Female Athlete of the Week honors.
