NTL SWIMMING & DIVING: TOWANDA'S DEACON NEARLY MEDALS IN 100 BACKSTROKE (February 27, 2026)

WILLIAMSPORT — Towanda boys swimming wrapped up the final day of action at the District IV Championships on Thursday.

Brennick Lain (56.27) was 12th in the 100 free, with Nolan Deacon (57.82) in 17th, and Ken Carle (1:19.39) in 18th.

Deacon (1:04.48) was sixth in the 100 backstroke, just missing the podium by less than half a second. Teammate Shane Maghamez (1:06.64) came in eighth.

The Towanda 400 free relay of Lain, Andrew Manley, Carle, and Lake Strickland took sixth in 4:03.06.
