NTL WRESTLING: TROY'S PARKS, PALMER FALL INTO CONSOLATIONS AT NE REGIONAL(February 27, 2026) Northern Tier Sports Report WILLIAMSPORT — Troy saw both wrestlers fall into the consolations during the first day of the Northeast Regional Tournament Friday.
Garret Parks (107) and Reed Palmer (285) both went 1-1 on the evening.
Parks got a 9-6 win over Canton’s Levi Vermilya in the prelims, but then got pinned by Honesdale’s Nathan Schuman in 48 seconds in the quarters. He gets South Williamsport’s Garrett Bacorn in the first round of consolations.
Palmer opened with a fall over Mifflinburg’s Landon Moser in 5:31, but then got pinned by Williamson’s Luke Sottolano in 1:10 in the quarters. He faces Sullivan County’s Carter Reis in the first round of consolations.
Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. back down at Williamsport.
