NTL WRESTLING: NEB'S KOLESAR REACHES SEMIS AT NE REGIONAL(February 27, 2026) Northern Tier Sports Report WILLIAMSPORT — NEB’s Asher Kolesar punched his ticket to the semifinals at the first day of the Northeast Regional Tournament Friday.
Kolesar (189) opened with a 10-5 win over Lake Lehman’s Lukas Conte in the quarters. He gets Montoursville’s Hayden Harvey in the final four.
Hunter Comstock (127) and Mason Alexander (114) both fell into the consolations.
Alexander opened with a 16-0 victory over Shamokin’s Xavier Carr in the prelims, but then got pinned by Hanover’s Chase Smith in 3:48 during the quarters. He gets Benton’s Kaleb Collae in the first round of consolations.
Hunter Comstock lost 15-0 to Williamson’s Hunter Simonds in the opening round. He’ll face Mifflinburg’s Jack Gramly in the first round of consolations.
Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. back down at Williamsport.
