NTL WRESTLING: FOX, PATRICK REACH NE REGIONAL SEMIS (February 27, 2026)

WILLIAMSPORT — Two of Wyalusing’s four wrestlers had reached the semifinals after day one of the Northeast Regional Tournament Friday.

Cole Patrick (133) and Daniel Fox (215) opened the tournament with wins to get to the final four. They’re just one win away from a state berth.

Jonathan Earle (152) and Ethan Vanderpool (189) both fell into the consolations with losses.

Patrick won 20-11 over Lackawanna Trail’s Riley Borruso in the quarters, and gets Mifflinburg’s Bradley Wagner in the semifinals.

Fox pinned his quarterfinal opponent, Dallas’ Jayden Benscoter, in 1:31. He gets Line Mountain’s Jacob Schwalm in the semifinals.

Earl lost 19-4 to Montgomery’s Trace Furman in the prelims. He gets Loyalsock’s Kayden Keefer in the consolations.

Vanderpool was pinned by Canton’s Leland Pepper in 1:41 in the preliminaries. He faces Milton’s Michael Runkle in the first round of consolations.

Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. back down at Williamsport.
