SULLIVAN'S KAPEC REACHES NE REGIONAL SEMIS (February 27, 2026)

WILLIAMSPORT — Sullivan County’s Andrew Kapec made the semifinals at the first day of the Northeast Regional Tournament Friday.

Kapec (133) pinned Scranton Prep’s Jake Barrett in the quarters, and gets Honesdale’s Justin Scanlon in the semifinals.

Carter Reis (285) lost 16-1 to Warrior Run’s Noah Johnson in the prelims. He gets Troy’s Reed Palmer in the first round of consolations.

Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. back down at Williamsport.
