AOW: TROY'S PALMER AND RENZI, NEB'S KOLESAR POST STRONG WEEKS (March 1, 2026)

The winter sports postseason has no share of exciting performances, and this was saw plenty of those all the way around.

On the girls’ side Troy rebounded from their semifinal loss to Loyalsock with a 34-26 win in the third place game. Freshman Izzy Renzi had six points on two 3-balls to go with two steals to be the Female Athlete of the Week.

For the boys wrestlers Reed Palmer of Troy and Asher Kolesar of NEB both earned state berths at the Northeast Regional Tournament. Palmer came through the consolations, while the freshman Kolesar got the win he needed after making the semifinals. Both are the Male Co-Athletes of the Week.
