SULLIVAN'S KAPEC FALLS IN CONSOLATIONS AT PIAA WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS (April 6, 2026)

HERSHEY — Sullivan County’s Andrew Kapec fell out of the PIAA Wrestling Championships with a loss Friday morning.

Kapec fell 8-0 to Derry Area’s Camden Olson in the second round of consolations.

Olson showed a penchant for scoring late in periods, getting a takedown with 12 seconds left in the first, then adding a reversal with 20 seconds left in the second.

In the third Kapec got in deep on a single leg but couldn’t finish, with Olson getting the sealing takedown with 15 seconds left in the match.
