NTL WRESTLING: TOWANDA'S EVANS FALLS IN FOURTH ROUND OF CONSOLATIONS (March 6, 2026)

HERSHEY — Towanda’s Gage Evans lost a hard fought 3-2 decision in the fourth round of consolations to Greenville’s Rudy Gentile Friday night at the PIAA Wrestling Championships.

After a scoreless first period Gentile was able to get a second period takedown to go up 3-0.

Evans got an escape to get on the scoreboard, then added another escape to start the third to make it a 1-point match.

He couldn’t get the go ahead takedown, though.

Evans will face Conwell Egan’s Colin Walther in the seventh place match.
