CANTON — Canton softball was indoors due to the rain on Monday with first year coach Kareem Ragab working them in drills.

“I’ll be honest with you, I never had coaching in my sights,” Ragab said. “But a few years ago I was pushed into coaching an all-star team of Little Leaguers, and, fruits of the labor, they’re now freshmen, and are ready to go. That’s really why, I have a good group of girls who are excited to play, they put in the work, and that’s all I can really ask for.”

Look for a team preview closer to the start of the season.
