NTL BOYS TRACK & FIELD: WYALUSING DROPS CLOSE BATTLE WITH NP-M, TOPS NEB (March 26, 2026)

WYALUSING — The Wyalusing boys track & field team dropped a close battle to North Penn-Mansfield, but swept Northeast Bradford in NTL action held at Peterson Stadium here Tuesday.
NP-M scored 75 points to nip Wyalusing by one. NEB scored 37.
The Rams had a trio of double winners in the individual events.
Tyler Caplan won the 100-meter dash in 11.95 seconds and the triple jump with a leap of 39-11 ½.
Joshua Palfreyman captured the discus with a toss of 117-4 and the shot put with a heave of 39-11.
Wyalusing’s Jack Fischer took the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.85 and the 300 hurdles in 47.96.
Also victorious were Dominic Trowbridge in the 200 with a time of 25.38 seconds, Dylan Johns in the high jump, clearing six feet even, Jonathan Earle in the pole vault at 11-6 and Conner Earle with a javelin toss of 143-4.
Winners for Northeast Bradford were Jackson Martin in the 3200, clocking 11:03.13, Daniel Barrett with a long jump of 17-8 1/2 and the 4x400 relay in 3:51.34.
Second-place finishers for Wyalusing included Mason Culver in the 200 (:26.86), Cody Tuttle in the 300 hurdles (:50.42), Tyler Grover with a 10-foot pole vault, Jasai Latini in the discus (109-4).
The Panthers’ runners-up were Eli Stanton in the 100 (:12.15), Martin in the 1600 (4:59.02), the 4x800 relay with a time of 9:41.08 and the 4x100 relay in 47.36 seconds.
Claiming third for the Rams were Trowbridge in the 100 (:12.17), Shay Gartland in the long jump (17-6 ¼), Ethan VanDerPool in the javelin at 134 feet even, Latini in the shot put (35-11), the 4x400 relay (3:55.92), and the 4x100 relay (:51.23).
Taking third for Northeast were Martin in the 800 (2:16.74), Landon Chapman in the triple jump at 34-1 ½ and Tucker Hughes in the discus with a throw of 99-1.
