NTL SOFTBALL: KNAPP HAS BIG DAY BUT TROY FALLS TO NP-LIBERTY (April 1, 2026)

LIBERTY — Troy softball dropped a 3-1 contest at NP-Liberty on Tuesday.

NPL led 1-0 after one, but Troy got that run back in the second. It stayed level until the bottom of the fifth, when the Mounties pushed two across to get the win.

Erinn Knapp went the distance for Troy in the loss, striking out eight with five walks, four hits, and three earned runs.

She went 2-for-3 with a triple from the plate, scoring their lone run.

Maddyson Muir had an RBI, with Sydnee Bellows (1-for-3) also getting a hit.

NPL’s Emma Booth struck out 15 in the win.

Knapp led off the second with a triple, then scored on a Muir ground out.
