NTL BASEBALL: TROY BASEBALL POWERS THEIR WAY PAST SULLIVAN COUNTY (April 1, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportEAST TROY — Troy baseball opened the season with a 16-3 win over Sullivan County in five innings.
They scored six runs in both the second and fourth, with four runs in the third.
Sullivan had one run in each of the first, third, and fifth innings.
Reed Palmer (2-for-4) had a home run, 3-RBI, and a run scored, with Brendan Gilliland (2-for-2) had a double, a triple, 3-RBI, and two runs scored.
Logunn Heasley (2-for-2) scored three times with 3-RBI, while Mason Smith (2-for-3) rocked a triple with three runs scored, and 2-RBI.
Pryor Teribury (1-for-1) scored three times with an RBI, as Logan Loxley (1-for-3) also had a hit.
Lucas Loxley scored three times with Frank Harper also crossing home.
Harper started, and went 2 2/3-innings with four strikeouts, three walks, two hits, and two runs, one of which was earned.
Gilliland went the final 2 1/3-innings with three strikeouts, two walks, no hits, and one unearned run.
