NTL TRACK & FIELD: WYALUSING TAKES HOME FOUR GOLDS FROM KIRBY CLASSIC (April 3, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportCANTON — The Wyalusing boys took third overall as they collected three gold medals at the Kirby Classic on Thursday.
Jonathan Earle, Conner Earle, and Dylan Johns all won events as the Rams scored 87.5 points. Hughesville won with 131, while Dallas finished with 90 points.
Johns won the high jump at 6-feet, then took second in the long ump at 19-feet, 3 3/4-inches. Jonathan Earle won the pole vault in 12-feet, while Conner Earle won the javelin in 131-feet, 7-inches.
Parker Cunningham was sixth in the long jump (17-feet, 8 1/2-inches) and seventh in the triple jump (36-feet, 5-inches), as Shay Gartland took fourth in the long jump (18-feet, 5 1/2-inches).
Ethan Vanderpool took sixth in the javelin at 118-feet, 11-inches, and seventh in the discus at 101-feet, 10-inches, with Joshua Palfreyman taking fifth in the shot put at 42-feet, 4-inches.
Tyler Caplan took third in the triple jump (38-feet, 11-inches), Jack Fischer was fourth in the 300 hurdles (44.72), Tyler Grover was fifth in the pole vault at 10-feet, John Kerin was fifth in the high jump at 5-feet, 8-inches, Tyler Grover was fifth in the pole vault at 10 feet, and Sullivan McCracken tied for seventh in the pole vault (9-feet).
The 4x400 was fifth in 3:48.68, while the 4x100 was eighth in 50.49.
The girls took fourth with 55.5 points led by Lia Fischer’s win in the triple jump at 32-feet, 10 1/4-inches.
Jenna Morningstar was second in the long jump (15-feet, 5 3/4-inches) and fourth in the high jump (4-feet, 8-inches).
Ava King was fourth in the triple jump at 31-feet, 9 1/4-inches, Carol Scarborough took fifth in the 400 in 1:10.50, Addi Vanderpool was fifth in the javelin at 83-feet, 1-inch, Alyssa Neagle took sixth in the pole vault 6-feet, 6-inches, Aleta O’Connor was seventh in the 400 in 1:10.94, Sierra Gromley was seventh in the discus in 79-feet, and Storey Newell tied for seventh in the pole vault in 6-feet, 6-inches.
The 4x100 relay (54.81) and the 4x400 (5:47.27) both took sixth.
