NTL SOFTBALL: WYALUSING ROLLS PAST CV FOR THIRD STRAIGHT WIN (April 9, 2026)

WESTFIELD — Wyalusing continued to roll through NTL Small School teams with a 16-1 win over CV in three innings during softball action Thursday.

The Rams jumped out with 10 runs in the first, then scored four more in the second, and two in the third.

Addison Fluck was strong on both sides, striking out five of the 12 batters she faced, while allowing one walk, two hits, and one run. She was 2-for-2 at the plate with a double, 2-RBI, and a run scored.

Riley O’Connor (2-for-2) had a double with a run scored, and 2-RBI, as Treanna Nickeson (2-for-2) scored three times, and had 2-RBI.

Addisyn Bly (2-for-2) had a double with three runs scored, while Kyla Carpenter (2-for-2) scored twice and drove in a run.

Kirra Millard (1-for-2) had a hit with her courtesy runner, Raelea Harvey, crossing home twice.

Josie Ferris (1-for-2) had a double with 3-RBI, as Hannah Fulmer (1-for-1), Emily Johns, and Ellie Adams all scored, with Adams scoring as a courtesy runner and a sub. Fulmer’s hit was a double.

Jaslynn Grover (1-for-1) had 2-RBI with Callee Warner and Johns each driving in a run.

Bly opened the game with a double, then scored on Nickeson’s hit. Millard then singled, followed by O’Connor drawing a walk to load the bases.

A fielder’s choice off the bat of Johns brought in Nickeson and Harvey for a 3-0 lead.

Carpenter would single to reload the bases, setting up Fluck’s 2-RBI hit that allowed O’Connor and Johns to score.

CV would get back to back outs, but Bly came up again, and this time singled in Carpenter, Nickeson then singled in Adams for a 7-0 lead.

Millard would get hit by a pitch to load the bases, setting up O’Connor’s 3-run double for the 10-0 first inning.

In the second Carpenter led off with a hit, followed by Fluck’s double. Ferris then doubled in those two for a 12-0 lead. 

After back to back outs Bly would walk to restart the rally, followed by Nickeson reaching on a base on balls. 

An error off the bat of Millard allowed Bly to score, followed by Nickeson scoring on O’Connor’s hit to make it 14-0.

In the third Adams was hit by a pitch, followed by Fulmer doubling her in. Fulmer scored on Grover’s hit.

Wyalusing (5-2) will host Montgomery on Friday with a 4:30 p.m. start.
